Amer Fort
Situated on a hill and creating a beautiful reflection in the Moutha Lake, the Amar Fort is commonly known as the Amber Fort too. This fort is considered a masterpiece of architecture and holds great significance in Indian history.

It was constructed in 1592 by Maharaja Man Singh I, one of Akbar’s most trusted generals, and served as the primary residence of the Rajput rulers. The fort, which is visited by over five thousand tourists daily, has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO as part of the ‘Hill Forts of Rajasthan’ along with five other forts.

Jaigarh Fort
Jaigarh Fort is an impressive structure located on the hills of ‘Cheel ka Teela’ in the Pink City Jaipur. This magnificent building was built by Sawai Jai Singh II in 1726 to protect the Amer Fort. Situated on the top of the cliff, this magnificent building is surrounded by greenery and massive walls.

This magnificent fort of Jaipur is well connected to the Amar Fort by an underground passage and is known for the “Vijay Fort” as it was never ever occupied. The fort currently houses the world’s largest wheeled cannon ‘Jaivana’, and offers a spectacular view of the city of Jaipur.

Nahargarh Fort
Decorated with delicate carvings and masonry, the Nahargarh Fort is an impregnable structure, which, along with two neighboring forts, Amer and Jigargarh, serves as a strong defense of the city of Jaipur.

The Jaipur best fort was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734 as a pilgrimage center. Offering breathtaking views of the city, Nahargarh Fort is famous for its massive wall that connects it to the Jaigarh Fort.
This fort in Jaipur India is located on a hilltop and you can hire a taxi or rickshaw till the bottom of the hill and walk the rest of the way.
